My whole reason for going after the making of this shot was to get an 'epic' feel. For me, that translated into high contrast, red, orange, war and Klingons (the two really go hand-in--hand). Strangely enough, everything was pretty easy to do. The drastic lighting was honestly fun to do.

I can imagine them going into battle against a borg cube, the bird-of-prey strafing the cube's hull as the intrepids drawing it's fire with random phaser bursts, all the while the akiras are lining up a dual volley of quantum torpedoes.

I am a nerd... I know. I'm damn proud of it!!!
