With this shot I was specifically trying to mimic the earlier Stargate hyperspace effect (
[link]) (for example). One element that I tried to implement was the "wave" effect of the hyperspace window. In the show, the colors flying by while the ship was in transit would come in waves, which is why there is a bit of blank space towards in the front of the Prometheus in the direction it is heading.
I think it turned out well. Let me know what you think!
